During my first career when I was teaching high school, I developed a model of learning that got real results consistently. I was different from all the other teachers because I was an “action researcher,” a teacher that adjusted their teaching based on the students’ performance. My methodology worked for students of ALL backgrounds.

I was the only one in my region doing this type of research. The model of learning that I developed got the attention of the government. They awarded me grants to further my research.

I taught over 200 teachers and professors how to teach better. At an education conference, an executive from the corporate world approached me and said: “You have to take this to corporate.”

I worked with him and his sales team for one day a week over six weeks. At the end of the six weeks, they doubled their sales! Thus began my career as a corporate trainer in leadership and sales.

I continued to do more research to discover what salespeople can do to make their sales conversations more profitable and what leaders can do to make their conversations more productive and meaningful.
